We also offer a 4 day program which includes Standard 11. This program is a one day partial program where the participant will be issued with Site Verification Booklet to be completed on-site.

This program is delivered over a 1 day period and at the completion of the theory component a Statement of Completion will be issued. To obtain a Statement of Attainment, the completion of a practical Site Verification Booklet is a requirement that must be completed by a Site Supervisor and then returned to New Horizons Safety & Training Services (RTO 31372) as evidence of practical training. You will have 6 months to return the booklet. This practical requirement is designed to increase the quality of basic training and safety required for working on Queensland Coal Mine Sites by ensuring practical elements are completed on site before issuing a Statement of Attainment. Upon completion of the Practical Site Verification Booklet your Trainer and Assessor will review and mark your assessment and if deemed competent the participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
This one day program will consist of theory components.
The participant will complete a theory assessment at the end of the day which is made up of multiple choice and short answer questions.
You will then be issued with a Site Verification Booklet.
- Photo identification to be provided on the day your program commences.
- GIQ Standard 11 with 6 units (must be current)
Student Support and LLN
This training program requires basic reading, writing and numeracy skills. A LLN pre enrolment tool is to be completed before enrolment can be finalised.

Credit Transfer is a process that provides students with agreed and consistent credit outcomes for units/qualifications that can be identified as equivalent in content. Please discuss this option upon enrolment if you feel your learning outcome can be matched with a current unit or qualification you may already hold.
Participants whom have successfully completed isolate and access plant cant look at further study options under the RII30115 Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations. Please speak to our friendly staff to discuss further.
